The concept — and terrific execution — of an icon for a jewel is intriguing, especially when combined with what you referred to in another sketch as intangible qualities like sparkle. The version above is more cryptic but I could imagine it might be a fertile area for further explorations. Glad I checked in!
Yes, it’s very cryptic indeed! There is a lot more I want to do with this idea … how surfaces interact, and the intersecting points are the new hybrid forms I always talk about. I’m still working it out conceptually, but there’s definitely more to come on this front!
